Nourishing Wholeness
I hope that as you visit this blog you are well, balanced, and nourished. I am ill with the flu. I guess there is a pro to every con and the pro of this situation is that I finally have time to update my blog. Lately I have been focused on finding sacred nurishment. That is connecting to the nourishment that connects me to my spiritual source and brings balance and healing back into my body. When we are ill and out of balance it is only natural to want to quickly feel better and to reach for some over-the-counter medication. However I have decided to take this time to connect with my inner wise women and discover her answers for healing, balance, and nourishment.
The gift of our journal is that it is simple, accessible, and powerful. We don't need to make an appointment, buy anything, or impress anyone. With a pen, paper, and openness we have access to our own deep source of wisdom. These are my seven deep nourishment journal question, use them or create your own. What does my body need in order to restore balance? How can I nourish my body? What small steps can I take to move forward? What is the gift/lesson/wisdom of this illness? What foods, scents, sounds, and images will inspire my wellness? How can I honor health and balance in my day to day routines? What does nourishment, balance, and wellness mean to me, describe your personal definition?
